Wave Goodbye 03:34
I'm doing alright with my convictions. How are you? You're like everyone... What if you are everyone? You climbed a bone ladder to the top. Can't see the sun, can't feel the rain. I noticed you aren't breathing. Wave goodbye, I'm doing all right for myself. Stand up on top of everyone around you and don't see anything. Well, I guess it's fucking dark up there; and what you don't hear is your heart. It's lonely at the top. (What you don't feel is) Your mind living and what you don't feel is your spine bending, Your back breaking. I got no interest in fighting my way through all the compromises you left behind. But they do. Watch out for their foot in your back. They're as blind as you are, They're as dead as you are, And you're in their way.

I just watched somebody die. I just swallowed another lie. I don't want to see people die. I don't want to swallow another lie. It's time to own up to what you said, To back up what you've done. The TV screen - you want something from me. The TV screams - you need something from me. The TV screen - you want something from me. The TV screams - you need something from me. Another life, another lie, mass murders of the mind. I don't want to be afraid. Another life, another lie, mass murders of my mind. I don't want to be afraid to go outside. This is why we hide. This is why we die. This is why.

Warthog 02:32
You've got to give to get. I took too much to forget. You've got to give to get. Don't close your eyes. You've got to give. What the fuck? My friend? Did you think I'd forget? You had a chance, We have the scars, We had the dream. They stole the dream. They took the stars. It's all we have. You had a chance. We have the scars, We knew the world. They stole the dream. They took the stars. It's all we had. It should be ours. You let it come down around you, There's nothing under there. I'm afraid I have to close my eyes; I have to be selfish. I hope you know we love you my friend. What the fuck? My friend? What did you think, my friend? I'd never walk away, my friend? I remember what you look like standing, my friend. I remember.

Bring It 03:09
Running out of reasons to try. Running out of things to say. Running out of smiles to fake. Running out of ways to lie. Running out of reasons. What the fuck am I going to do? This is my life. What the fuck am I going to do? Too busy to hit bottom. I don't have time to burn out. I live to toe the line so bring it on. I'm not interested in conciliation. I don't have time for sympathy, And I hate surprises. If this is it then let me know. If it's gonna get worse I can take it...try me. It's the best that I've got. Make it enough. It's the best that you'll get. Make it enough. I don't have time to hit bottom. It takes too long to climb back out. I don't have time. Bring it.

Watched your lips move during that interview. That voice wasn't yours. Spitting poison that's not dangerous, Throwing knives that are dull. I read what you said in that interview. Was that you? Why didn't it hurt you when you cut yourself? How come there's no blood coming from those wounds? Just not that cool. You're no hero. What if you meant it? We meant it when we sang along. What the fuck did you think I was pointing my finger at? My see-through-hero, You can't block the bullets I'm going to shoot at you.
6.
You hear it. You feel it. You pin it to your fucking heart like the rest of us. You hear it. You feel it. You pin it to your heart and you keep moving. We're not going to save the world. We're just learning how to live. We're not going to save the world. We're just learning how to breathe. Breathe it in. (As long as it's something, we're more than nothing. It just might get us through.) We can learn to breathe the smoke, And we can set the fires. It's in a thousand different places; I heard it in a thousand different songs. You hear it. You feel it. You pin it to your fucking heart like the rest of us. You hear it. You feel it. You pin it to your heart and keep moving. I remember these roads with different voices, Singing different songs. Different faces and different places, Setting the same fires. This is how we burn. (This is) for the travelers.

My problem is I can see it. My problem is I have seen it. Look what it's done to me. Watching what it's done to you. 13 hours at a time, or 9-5. We're in this for our lives. 13 hours at a time. Are you alive? Are you a lie? What about standing up? What about fighting for your life? What about standing up? What're you going to do when the good guys lose? Day after day you're on your back. A slave so long, You've lost track 13 hours at a time, or 9-5. We're in this for our lives. 13 hours at a time. Are you afraid? Afraid to try? Are you alive? Are you a lie? You're a lie. This is a fight. Do what's right. This is a fight to stay alive. This is a fight for our lives. This is a fight.

I've had better days. I'm not good enough. ENOUGH. How do I know today won't be like yesterday? Give me one good reason to get out of bed. Turn it off. I can't get this weight off. It keeps me warm. I can't hold this world up. It's always on. I can control this, I can control this, I can control this. I HAVE CONTROL. I'm not going to die today. I'm not going to waste today. I'm not going to die today. How do I face today? What if today is as bad as yesterday? How do I get up the next day? It doesn't matter. I'll just end up here anyway. Turn it back on. It doesn't matter. At least it's on. Give me one good reason to get out of bed.

Mudmonster 03:01
I have nothing but contempt, For how you think and how you live. Twisted words to suit your vision, Took what wasn't yours to give. You are not a god. You are not a man. You are just a thief. Come take from me. How does the sun feel on your back? How does your foot feel on her back? I won't accept your life. I won't steal her life. How do you crush life? How do you justify your life? I will walk past your tradition and I won't look back. Won't respect your position. I think you missed his point. I don't think he speaks to you. I can look in your eye, And know it for what you turned into. Monster.

How do we act like this? We've left each other behind. Walked away from our own, Left them alone, Self-satisfying our desires from the top of another's back. Liar. Reduced yourself to this. Lair. There's nothing on the top of a pile of our own, There's nothing on the backs of our friends, There's nothing to our desires when we win like this. Have you ever seen the eyes of a man, As he's betrayed by his friends? Have you ever seen him cry? Have you ever seen his eyes? Because every day we are beaten down, Stolen from, Lied to, By our friends, By our own, By our fellow man. It could have been so much better than this.
